Welcome to Peterhead Congregational Church

Our Mission Statement

We give thanks for the life and witness of this Church and its 200 years of service. We are an independent church, holding fast to the inerrancy and supremacy of the Scriptures as we seek to advance our faith through a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. All are welcome here.

Rev James McMillan

"For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it".

Ephesians 2 vv 8-9

We are a traditional congregation, using Mission Praise and Sankey hymn books in our worship and reading from the NIV Bible. Commencing with an Introit from our Choir we follow a simple Order of Service, which leads us to the preaching of the Word, and closes in prayer. DVD video recordings of our Sunday morning worship are available, if you would like to receive these just ask!

Our buildings have step-free access throughout and there is an accessible toilet with a baby-changing facility. A defibrillator is available at all times that the church is open.
